M Wave Foldable Bicycle Display Stand Excellent Product - Just Ordered a 3rd One!

Reviewer: BikeRiderInTC,
At 110lbs., with any of my bikes mounted on this stand I can actually sit on the bike and pedal it, checking for fit if I have changed out a saddle, pedals, seat post or whatever. As for working on the drive train using this stand, it is just as others have described it.

The downside to this stand, however, is that it is made of painted steel and plastic. The lower corners of the stand will rust when the paint is scraped off. I overcame this problem by adding 4" of split cable from Ace Hardware, secured by zip ties, to each corner.

The fit is quite snug and the best way to mount it to your rear axle is to hold it horizontally and pry it apart a bit to slide it on from behind the bike. But then, when it is properly mounted, you can actually lift up your bike and move it around, without the stand falling off!

However, the stand will not fit front axles, as described by some sites. All in all, though, I like this stand much better than the much pricier Topeak Flash Stand, which I also own. Bikes tend to fall over on the Topeak Flash Stand, and I could never even consider actually sitting on a bike mounted on one of these, much less even walking away from it for a few seconds. For my money, the M-Wave stand is superior to anything else I have found.
M Wave Foldable Bicycle Display Stand perfect for non quick release bikes

This stand is fairly durable, and holds up your rear tire pretty good for spinning the wheels and making adjustments. It works like a dream with a standard bolted tire, but if you have quick release where the bolts would normally be, you have to play with it to get it on. I was able to get it on without too much trouble, and once it was on, it was great. Can't beat the 20 dollar price tag compared to over 100 for a large bulky pro stand.
M Wave Foldable Bicycle Display Stand Inexpensive workstand

I was looking for a workstand for my bicycles but I didn't want to pay the kind of money they're asking for them. So I found this for twenty bucks and decided to take a chance on it.

I was pleasantly surprised on the construction of it and the product has not disappointed me for what I use it for. The purpose of buying this display stand was to tune my derailers and clean my chains and it works perfectly.

Reviewer: Bart,
Purchased this stand because I was hoping I could adjust my derailleurs myself. Unfortunately I must say that this one will work only as a bike stand. Design of the "supports" blocks the derailleur movement so it can't shift to lowest gear. If you are going to use it as a stand only - it's OK. Otherwise, for DIY rear derailleur tune up it's a NO GO.
